- I downloaded the audio patch from ftp.uni-regensburg.de a couple of
- days ago and made the the patches to the kernel source tree.
- Compiling the kernel went just fine and so did compiling the kernel
- module...
- BUT: When the module is to be loaded I get a
- 'can't allocate memory: operation not permitted'

- I got the 1.1 binaries installed and the kernel is a pretty standard
- with only minor modifications ( none to the files concerning the audio
- patches... ). It is compiled with LKM support and I was logged in as
- root when trying to modload.

- Anyone else had this problem? Possible solutions?
